FIRST VISIT

The First Visit is often the most important!

Our office, as well as The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry all recommend establishing a dental home for your child by their first birthday.

Children with a dental home are more likely to receive proper preventive care and routine oral health treatment.

You are welcome to accompany your child through every step of their first visit and all future visits.

In addition to addressing your child’s dental needs, our goal is to establish a rapport and make the appointment enjoyable for the entire family. Since our practice is catered to and solely for kiddos, we are experts at easing any apprehension, sharing preventative tips, and addressing any questions you may have.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your new patient appointment so our friendly office staff can help verify all the necessary paperwork and dental insurance information.

I felt very comfortable and informed as to what to expect during procedures, and knew my kiddos were in great hands!
Deb in the office is the best, my kids always love seeing her friendly face!  She even emailed my kids school to excuse their absence during a dentist visit without me even having to ask (or remember, lol)!

My son has significant behaviors and has a lot of fears. Dr. Blake and his staff members kept everyone safe, including my son, was able to get work done quickly and efficiently, and made me feel comfortable as a parent. I highly recommend Mountain Valley Kids Dental for all kids, but specifically, for kids with disabilities.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional, great bedside manner with kiddos, and so thoughtful/caring towards patients and parents alike. I appreciate the preventative approach rooted in long-term care for the patient, instead of unnecessary procedures because it's "easier" or "profitable." My 3.5 year old son needed to have a congenital issue fixed under general anesthesia, and I felt at ease the entire time knowing he was in the most capable hands. If I could give 10 stars I would!
